Do your research – It all really depend on what you need when it comes to a computer! This in combination with my iPad has made course work a bit easier to keep track of electronically! It’s a quality product. It was not the 2020 model, but there wasn’t really any change, so it’s a pretty good price for a new Mac. It’s definitely more budget friendly.

Little things can cause a problem – This is our 2nd Apple Mac Mini in the last 5 years. The first one just was too old to keep updating. With the new one, we had a problem with the external speakers, so I replaced them with new ones. The same problem came up,

Good workhorse, able to drive 3 monitors with it. – Got this before the M1 Mac Mini came out. Speedy, driving 3 monitors (with USB-c adapters). Thought I could do all 3 via USB-c, it insists I use HDMI as one of the ports (not a deal breaker).

I love it, but I love Mac mini since 2012 – Moved my family to Mac once the oldest daughter started getting online to avoid spending every other Saturday removing viruses and malware from a bunch of Windows computers. I get a new mini, use it for a year, then pass it down to the next kid. My 2012, mini started having video issues while my youngest was using it. Kids are homeschooled so these computers are heavily used. I researched a fix for the 2012 and it involved something called “reballing” so I decided to recycle it and get my self a new one. 🙂

Small foot print excellent idea – So this is basically a mid range type device which you are paying for for factor and brand? Picked of from warehouse deal to make it worth it.i was going to upgrade memory and like going to service center. Sticker shock! OMG Apple.

MacMini 2018 Model A1993 not 2020 – The computer overall as a whole is great as you would expect with other Mac products however, if you’re specifically looking for 2020 hardware parts, then this is not the one. I think these computers that Amazon is selling are 2018 models that have been updated to the newest Specs by Apple. They are brand new computers in the original wrapping. Just that the hardware is not the 2020 version. I contacted Amazon to try and fix this in the description especially for those really wanting the 2020 version.

Mac Mini is the desktop of my choice – RAM underpowered for me. Was known and upgraded by myself to 64. Parallel user. Think about SSD size. Enough for me but heavy users will need more. Have to buy it at the time of purchase. All said, it is an Apple product and delivers the quality that come with it. Great design, low footprint. Ready for Thunderbolt 3, why I decided. No more low USB offline storage / time machines speeds ever again. Expensive but you get what you pay for.
